Dr Doshi is active in a number of academic activities at the national and international levels. She is a regular invited faculty member at numerous national and international conferences. She is at present the President of “Indian Society for Study of Pain-Mumbai branch”. She has also been on the executive board of the “Indian Society for Study of Pain” [ISSP] which is a prestigious national body of over 1800 dedicated members who work for the cause of pain. She is involved in also training junior doctors in pain medicine which is much needed to alleviate suffering of huge population of our country. She participates in annual conferences as a faculty to teach theory as well as practical aspects of pain medicine such as cadaver workshops, live workshops where hands on experience is provided to junior doctors. She has also written chapters in books on interventional pain management and has published articles on her work in national and international journals.

On 17th and 18th November 2007 she organized an international conference called “Comprehensive Review of Interventional Pain therapies” at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre in association with Cornell University, New York which included live demonstrations of advanced pain techniques which has been one of its kind in India and was widely attended and appreciated by all. She has been scientific chairperson of a triennial international event held in Mumbai called ‘Global Update of Pain” the caliber of which is widely acclaimed all over India and neighboring countries.
