Minor Procedures:

Performed on outpatient basis- Trigger Point Injections, Peripheral Nerve Blocks like lateral cutaneous nerve of thigh [Meralgia Paraesthetica] or ilio-inguinal nerve block [Post hernio-plasty pain] or intra articular injections [shoulder/Knee] are performed on outpatient basis. Programming of implantable devices like spinal cord stimulator and Intrathecal drug delivery system is performed in a non-invasive manner in clinic and refill of Intrathecal morphine and baclofen pumps is performed by percutaneous minimally invasive technique without anaesthesia.

Major Procedures :

These involve fluoroscopically guided placement of appropriate needles in a sterile setup as practiced internationally. These are generally performed in OT for sterility, monitored anaesthesia care [MAC] and easy availability of resuscitative measures. These are in turn divided into diagnostic and therapeutic groups.
